We Fear Our Brothers
Description:
Not really much of a game. It's more of an experiment or prototype I used to learn. It's also not optimized for browser, making it run poorly. As a result, the game isn't very fun. I hope you enjoy.
Controls:
WASD for movement
Shift to run
Double-press shift to sprint
Control (Ctrl) to crouch
Mouse to look around
Mouse left-click to attack enemies, or consume food
Hold space to heal fast
Tips:
All your stats are implied by visuals or sounds:
Health: visible blood on screen.
Fear: heartbeat rate and amplitude.
Energy: screen blur.
Satiation: screen desaturation.
Moving fast, looking around fast, and attacking produces sounds that enemies can detect.
Patches of mushrooms are your source of food and replenishes your satiation.
Running out of satiation results in the gradual depletion of health.
Sprinting consumes energy, and replenishing energy consumes satiation.
You automatically heal, consuming satiation. While moving or fast healing, satiation is consumed in higher proportions.
Enemies can't see you while you're hiding in leaf piles.
